List for those that desire to travel with us every year

-Passport (birth certificate with picture ID not anymore) (bring a small plastic bag to put it in to prevent the document from being damaged or wet. -PERMISSION SLIPS AND INSURANCE INFORMATION $50 up to $200 extra (no more money please) inside USA food has to be covered by the traveler. Meals are provided ONLY in Costa Rica. Everyone is responsible for his or her own money, so put it in a safe place in your luggage or special bag. Do not carry all your money at once when out of designated place. -$30 EXIT TAXES from Costa Rica – USA -Thank you cards to leave in the host houses. Bring an extra host gift - 2 pieces of luggage. No big suitcases. 1 carry on and 1 at the airplane. Bring an extra change of clothes and clean clothes just in case we have a delay with our luggage. - NO KNIFES, NO SCISSORS, NO WEAPONS OF ANY KIND. (your luggage is checked at the airport) - Please write your full name and address INSIDE and OUTSIDE your luggage - $1,200 Total expenses for trip

Any medicine have to be in original containers and doctor prescription. All medications are stored with camp leader in charge. Please see travel release forms and PERMISSION

GOALS WHILE IN CAMP PREMISES

Goals and Aims while in Camp Premises 1. To introduce those lost campers to Jesus and lead them to an eternal saving knowledge of His love. 2. To worship our Lord in a natural and comfortable environment. 3. To encourage spiritual growth among the campers. 4. To encourage young people to become active participants in the church and our associated work. 5. To have mission related activities The objectives of our program are: · To bring young people of different countries into meaningful contact with each other · To permit the sharing of ideals and cultural viewpoints · To promote international understanding and goodwill · To develop leadership potential in outstanding youth · To encourage respect in young people for the thinking of others

Who can go?

WHO CAN GO? · Youth Pastors must have attended a F.I.C.M.I. Clinic (when provided), be certified as a Teacher/Trainer, and have experience at leading a Youth ministry in their local church. (Pastor's recomendation letter would work) · Team members must have experienced at least two semesters of training in their local church only if they want to cooperate as leaders in the Youth Camp. · Team members must be certified as Trainers by F.I.C.M.I. (when needed) · Team members must raise sufficient funds to cover their trip expenses

Total price of this mission trip: $1,200 (around $700 airfare)

MINISTRIES

Project Coordinator Examples of your responsibilities include: · Assist the F.IC.M.I. staff and Field Rep's in preparing for an specific project and conducts the project by supervising the participants, schedule, mission trip staff, and use of the lodging facility. · Communicate with Group Leaders concerning preparation for the project. Construction Coordinator Examples of your responsibilities include: · Assist the F.I.C.M.I staff and Field Rep's in preparing for the project and conducts the project by providing the materials and knowledge necessary to carry out the construction element of the project. · Enlist construction volunteers to help you coordinate all the construction work to be done during the project. Music Leader Examples of your responsibilities include: · Assist the F.I.C.M.I staff and Field Rep's in preparing for the project and conducts the project by providing the worship aspect of the project. · Recruit musicians and singers from the mission trip group in order to perform at the outreaches. · Work with the Drama Director in order to help out with special music needs · Conduct worship planning meetings each day with those involved. · Conduct praise and worship in outreaches at the locations already arranged Drama Director Examples of your responsibilities include: · Assist the F.I.C.M.I staff and Field Rep's in preparing for the project and conducts the project by providing the dramas, mimes and artistic performances needed for the project. · Recruit people from the mission trip group in order to perform at the outreaches. · Perform at the outreaches already planned. Dance and Arts Director Examples of your responsibilities include: · Assist the F.I.C.M.I staff and Field Rep's in preparing for the project and conducts the project by providing the dances, Living Video, and artistic performances needed for the project. · Recruit people from the mission trip group in order to perform at the outreaches. Perform at the outreaches already planned. Media Director Examples of your responsibilities include: · Assist the F.I.C.M.I staff and Field Rep's in preparing video and pictures from mission trip · Submit masters for editing. · Video tape missions, project and outreaches. Community Care Director Examples of your responsibilities include: · Assist the F.I.C.M.I staff and Field Rep's in preparing Children Care Clinic, School Aid Clinic, Special Education Clinic, financial counseling, prayer, home repairs, visitation. · Be able to perform short clinics, speeches, conferences, and teachings for the community and mission trip youth group as well. · Recruit people from the mission trip group in order to develop an specific clinic or project. FIRST AID TEAM Examples of your responsibilities include: · Assist as Nurses, nurse assistants, volunteers, counseling, prayer. · Be able to perform first Aids. · Recruit people from the mission trip who has experience and are able to assist as Nurses. COOK AND KITCHEN TEAM Examples of your responsibilities include: · Preparing the meals in the menu already provided with the help of locals.
